The way your home is decorated says a lot about your personality. When we step into your living room, we may see that you are a traditional or very modern person. If we see a lot of foreign style decor or souvenirs on the wall, we may assume that you are a worldly traveller. Even when you don’t put any thought or effort at all into your home interior, it will still speak volumes about you. If the living room is a cluttered mess, that’s just part of who you are.
While it is true that your home should reflect who you are, there is nothing wrong with considering other people’s thought and opinions about it. When you can’t decide on which piece of furniture to buy, there is no shame in getting a second opinion.
With this site I wish to give you some of my own tips and ideas about decorating the interior and exterior of your home. I can only hope that I can be of some assistance to you. Whether I convince you to buy a lift top coffee table, invest in some leather furniture or teach you how to install a backsplash in the kitchen, I’m happy that my articles helped give you a nudge in the right direction.
Now I must tell you, as the main writer of this site, I do not have a degree in interior design. I’m just a simple person who loves helping his friends and family put together their home interior decor, and thought he might provide some of his thoughts to people online. All my knowledge stems from reading various home decor magazines and watching home make-over shows. I promise you though that my information is well researched and I only try to give my honest opinion with them.
